Pull back the curtains.
Open up the blinds.
Look intently at the sky, what do you see?
The sun light is fading…another day is almost over.
You may have spent most of your day trying to impress those who have looked down on you.
Part of your day was spent looking for things to fulfill your desires. To help you look beautiful, to make you look less insecure, more manly, like you were wealthy. Maybe you searched for the things in the world that made you feel loved.
You searched and searched for all of these things but now you feel empty.
We are the young.
There will be times when those who are older than you will look down on you because of your youth or age.
They may think that we are not able or we are not capable, but do not let them judge you.
We are the young.
Let’s make a difference, while we’re young.
Be an example for those that may look down on you.
Use your talents and hobbies for good things and not just for you’re own benefits.
Above all other things remember to use your talents and gifts for the glory of God and not for men.
We were made to stand out to make a difference while we’re young. Yes even we can be an example to those who look down on us.
While we’re young let’s shine a light in this dark world. Let’s be the ones to point people to Christ.
Let’s be such an example of Christ that before people can talk to us they will see the love of Jesus shinning through.
“12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
– 1 Timothy 4:12
Let’s live like Jesus while we’re young!
